Villa Leona - Ciovo

Welcome to Villa Leona,  sea view deluxe house with private pool located on the island of Ciovo, less than 3 km from the centre of Trogir, UNESCO’s World Herritage site. The accommodation is suitable for up to 8 persons, offering a wide range of luxury amenities, both inside and outside the house.

Inside the house there are 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 bathrooms with toilette and shower and another one with toilette and bath tub), living room, kitchen with dining area, fitness room and a balcony with a great sea view. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen size double bed, ensuite bathroom, wardrobe and desk meanwhile in the living room there are other two extra beds for additional 2 persons.

All rooms have air-conditioning / heating unit and free WI-FI Internet access. The kitchen is completely equipped with stove, oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and other cooking utensils.

In the living room you can relax yourselves in front of the cable TV with international channels meanwhile in the dining area there is a plenty of room to enjoy your meals. For your entartainment there is also a fitness room equipped with running track, bycicle and other body building equippment. Among other amenities, washing machine, clothes dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board are all available in the house.

There is a big terrace outside with a beautiful view of the island and beach. The Villa comfortably holds 6 people and there are 2 extra beds in the living room. If you want to eat outside we offer a barbecue with a beautiful sea view. There is a swimming pool situated in front of the Villa, complete with deck chairs and a sea view. While on the island you can visit many local beaches –  the nearest one is only 200 meters from the Villa. The island has many restaurants to choose from, where you can try lots of Mediterranean delicacies.

Outside the villa there is a private swimming pool with deck chairs and a great sea view. Next to the pool there is also a terrace with a barbecue where you can enjoy eating having a beautiful view over the island and the beach.

Villa Leona is situated in a great location, close to the sea and the beach as well as to the city of Trogir and other great attractions in the area.  If you like to party, there are a number of beach bars on the biggest beach on the island (200 meters from the Villa). If you like to spend your evenings at home, you can chill out on the terrace.

Also, you can visit many sights in the historical, UNESCO protected town – Trogir, which is 3 kilometers away from the Villa. You can go to Trogir by car or you can take the boat taxi from the island (15min). Trogir is full of iconic landmarks and must-sees.

You can also visit the second largest Croatian city and, according to Croats, the most beautiful city in the world, the beautiful city of Split. Split is 25 kilometers away from the Villa. You can go there by car, take a bus from Trogir or by boat from Trogir as well.

Villa Leona is situated in the village of Okrug Gornji, on the western side of the island of Ciovo, less than 3 km from the centre and the old town of Trogir. The island of Ciovo is connected to the main land by a bridge therefore the house can be easily reached by car from Trogir in more or less 3 minutes driving.

The villa is located close to the sea and the beaches, the nearest one situated only 200 meters from the house. In the village of Okrug and on the island of Ciovo there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, where you can taste and enjoy the traditional Mediterranean delicacies. The biggest beach on the island, some 200 meters from the villa, is famous for beach bars where you can enjoy appetizers or have fun during all the day. On the promenade of Okrug you can also rent a boat or take an organised trip to the nearby islands. The car on the island is not necessary but would certainly be recommended if you would like to go around, exploring the island and visiting other destinations and attractions in the area. The city centre of Trogir can also be reached on foot as well, in some 15-20 minutes walking from the house.

Three out of 7 UNESCO world heritage sites in whole Croatia are located within 45 minutes by car from the accommodation: The old town of Trogir is only 3 km far away, a must see destination, full of iconic landmarks and with a great variety of bars and local restaurants. The old town of Split and Diocletian’s Palace, also listed as UNESCO’s sites, are some 25 km far away from the villa and can be reached by car, by bus from Trogir or by boat from Trogir as well. Another must see attraction from UNESCO’s list is St.Jacob’s Cathedrale located in the town of Sibenik, approx. 45 km from the house.

During your holidays we also recommend you to visit the Krka Waterfalls National park (45 minutes from Trogir) and to choose one of the nearby islands in Split archipelago for a daily trip or excursion by private boat (the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar or Vis). If you are fond of adrenaline sports, the city of Omis and the Cetina canyon are ideal places to have fun on rafting or canyoning along the river (also within 45 minutes from the villa).
